Status Employment are delighted to announce that we have received funding from the The National Lottery – AWARDS FOR ALL to purchase computers, computer equipment, disabled software, computer chairs, printers and loop system. This funding will help us to continue to fulfil our Mission Statement for our Clients – "Moving towards, gaining and remaining in work".

Status Employment has been asked to make a submission to the Government's Works and Pensions Committee on the subject of changes to Incapacity Benefit.

We use the results to tell service providers in Croydon about the views and experiences of disabled people. Your names and personal details are never given to anyone. This can help them make improvements to their services, as well as confirm existing good systems.

From December 2006 The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 will be amended to place a duty on all public bodies to promote disability equality. This will affect all public bodies - from local councils to government departments, from universities to hospitals.
