STATUS Employment is a registered charity which aims to assist disabled people in finding and retaining paid employment.
We work with people with disabilities or mental health issues to get into work or move closer to the job market; this can be through education; training, paid work or volunteering.
We'll start by helping you to identify your current skills, look at your aspirations and help you to gain and retain employment in a supportive work environment.
We'll work with the employer to ensure that the job is right for you and to ensure that any necessary adjustments to the job are put in place.

Status Services
We work with individuals in a holistic way and have a variety of services to suit your needs.
Vocational Service
you will be allocated an Employment Consultant who will work with you on a 1:1 basis getting to know you and supporting you all the way into your new job. We help with CV's, Job Search, Supporting Statements, Application Forms and Interview Techniques.
Mentoring Group
A user-led service working with people who need additional help with Advocacy, Active Lifestyles, Social Inclusion Activities and Community Involvement.
Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPTs) - Lambeth only
This project works with people who are accessing therapy for anxiety and depression. The staff work with job seekers and those in employment, to return them to the work after a period of absence. They will work with you to identify your work needs and compile a back to work plan to help you either retain your job or find a new one.
